Ensuring Children's Voices Are Heard

Humanitarian aid meets urgent needs. Advocacy drives lasting change.

At the Children of Ukraine Foundation, we are committed to both.

Ukrainian World Congress

Our work on behalf of Ukraine's children was recognized by the Ukrainian World Congress when our Executive Director was named a "30 Under 30" at the Global Ukrainian Summit in Bern, Switzerland. We share this honor with every child we serve and every supporter who made this work possible.

At the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, we helped bring the realities of Ukraine's conflict-affected youth to the General Assembly in New York. We shone a light on how grassroots organizations like ours are reaching children and families in active conflict zones, ensuring that those most affected by the war remain visible in global recovery and development efforts.

How can we create opportunities for young people during conflict and post war? We raised that question at the United Nations in New York, making the case for multi-stakeholder partnerships that support youth during crisis and create viable pathways for sustainable employment and economic development.

Global Youth Summit

From New York to Cape Town. We drew attention to the reality of conflict-affected youth at the Global Youth Summit in South Africa, ensuring that even on the other side of the world, these children are not forgotten.

Harvard Report

In partnership with the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute, we amplified the voices of 63 Ukrainian children displaced across Europe and North America.

Their firsthand accounts reveal the realities of war and childhoods shaped by loss, adaptation, and hope. More than a record of displacement, this research is a call to action to support children as they recover and rebuild their futures.

We brought the voices of Ukraine's displaced children to the United Nations in New York, helping ensure that the human cost of war on young people remained at the forefront of global conversations on peace and security.
